Weekly BESTeam feature

My blog readers will notice in the future that I will be reguarly featuring other Etsy shops on my blog. Part of my commitment to grow my business was to get more involved in the Etsy community. How are you promoting your shop? Part of what I have always been committed for in both my personal and business life is helping others. I hope you will get to know some of these shops in the future! I have joined the BESTeam-Boosting Etsy Shops.
If you're interested in growing your business-maybe you should check them out too!

A mother with toddler girls who loves to bead  is how this Etsy shop owner describes herself!
This is one of the beautiful pieces of jewelry I found in her shop. Don't you just love the colors in this necklace! Perfect for a spring day. Called Crystal Tears I'd be having tears of joy wearing this!

I hope you check out these shops that I am going to be featuring and let me know if you'd like to join us to!

Have a wonderful day!

Linens and Lace Treasury

Here's my latest treasury! I find myself really enjoying curating treasuries. It give me a chance to let my mind wander thru lots of shops. I don't really plan them out too much in advance. I check in the Treasury room and when I see that the treasuries are around 350 I go searching. I sometimes search by colors or materials, or sometimes a word just pops into my head and I run with it.

Hope you'll have a chance to look at the treasury-I'd love to hear your comments!

My earrings been featured in Crafty Dreams Blog

It's nice to get a message from saying that one of your items have been featured in their blog! Doesn't just make your day? But how many times do YOU actually feature someone else work on your blogs? Not enough I imagine. Well done blog mentions-as this one by Eaindar  on her Crafty Dream Blog can really help cross promote not only your items but items from other sellers.  So think about this idea for your blog too!

I really like following her blog-It's one of my "must reads." I like to see what she finds. What "finds" do you want to share?

Spring Craft Show Time!

I'm getting ready for my first craft show of the season. It's been crazy around my house! I put away all my displays and all my supplies when December came around and really haven't thought about them until this week.

Now I'm paying for my procrastination! My house looks like a disaster! I'm repacking holiday decorations and replacing them with spring themes. Oh why did I wait so long? Bob has been a trooper-last night we sat at the dining room table replacing ALL the backing cards on over 300 pairs of earrings! I've been busy trying to increase my show inventory.

If you want to get some ideas about craft show displays, click on the link and you will see my Flickr pictures of some of my set-ups. Hope these will give you some ideas. I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions. Hopefully I'll be somewhat organized by this Saturday!

Here's a list of my upcoming shows-If you're in the area stop by and say "Hello!" I'm not scheduled to do too many this spring. So I hope if you're in the area of these shows you'll stop by!

My 100th follower!

Recently in one of the Etsy forums, we were discussing our goals for the day. My goal was to get to 100 blog followers. Well her she is!

I decided that I would give away a pair of earrings from my Etsy shop to my 100th follower. Turns out it is TheGreenHaven!

She picked this sparkly sapphire blue pair of earrings from my shop.

I wanted to find out a bit more about her-so I went exploring in her shop! Her is some of what I found.
I love the Eco-friendly items she has in her shop. My daughters boyfriend is a John Deere fan...

This John Deere Sandwich Reusable Sandwich bag might have to be a purchase....never know when you need a "love"gift!

From her shop description:

"Ever get tired of all those plastic baggies? Here is your solution. Reusable Sandwich and snack bags. Americans alone throw away 83 billion baggies a year! Not counting all those brown paper bags that the baggies go in! This bag is a Green Plaid John Deere print, great for boys... or girls! The interior is a white vinyl. Making this bag very easy to clean, just take a wet rag and wipe it out. Can be machined washed with like colors and hung out to dry. Closes with velcro.

Great idea! She has a variety of these in her shop-can you imagine your kids taking their lunch to school in one of these! I hope you take a look at her shop. It's hard to imagine that she's only 18 and a freshman in college! Kudo's to her for being so motivated!
Thanks for being my 100th follower! I hope you'll come back and let us know what new things you're working on.
